Arsenal Considering Ambitious Move for Real Madrid Star Vinicius Jr*

Arsenal are looking into the possibility of signing Real Madrid forward Vinicius Jr as they continue building their squad after winning the Premier League title.

The Gunners are expected to make several moves during the transfer window after ending their 22-year wait for the league trophy. They have already signed Greek winger Christos Tzolis from Club Brugge, but they are also interested in a much bigger deal for Vinicius Jr if he decides not to extend his contract with Real Madrid.

The Brazilian forward, 25, has one year left on his current contract at the Santiago Bernabéu, and talks over a new deal have not reached an agreement. Reports from The Athletic claim there have been no official discussions between Arsenal and Real Madrid yet, but the idea of signing Vinicius has reportedly received approval within the club.

Vinicius joined Real Madrid from Flamengo in 2018 after turning 18 and has become one of the best attacking players in world football. He has played 375 matches for the Spanish club, scoring 128 goals and creating 100 assists in all competitions.

The Brazil international also had a strong performance at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, scoring four goals during the tournament. He is one of several attacking players Arsenal are watching, along with Atlético Madrid striker Julián Álvarez.

Atlético Madrid are reportedly not keen on selling Álvarez but could be more willing to discuss a deal with Arsenal than Barcelona, who have also shown interest in the striker. Arsenal are also keeping an eye on Bournemouth forward Junior Kroupi as they look for more attacking options.

The club are also interested in Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimarães. Reports suggest Arsenal are preparing a £70 million offer for the Brazilian player. Although Guimarães is believed to be open to a move, Newcastle are reportedly determined to keep him this summer.
