Alleged Tupac Shakur Killer Duane “Keefe D” Davis Not Afraid of Possible Life Sentence
Duane “Keefe D” Davis, the man accused of being involved in the killing of rapper Tupac Shakur, is reportedly doing well in jail as his murder trial begins in Las Vegas.
Davis, 64, has pleaded not guilty to the 1996 murder. Jury selection for his trial began on Monday, August 10.
Prosecutors allege that Davis helped plan the shooting and provided the gun used in the attack, although they say another person fired the fatal shot.

Davis was arrested in 2023 after years of publicly talking about his alleged involvement in Tupac’s death. He has remained in the Clark County Detention Center while waiting for his trial.
According to reports, people close to Davis say he is not particularly afraid of going to prison because he has spent time behind bars before. However, they say he does not want to spend the rest of his life in prison.
Those close to him reportedly believe prison could be more difficult for him because of his age. They also say his reputation as the man accused of being involved in Tupac’s murder could put him at greater risk while behind bars.
Davis’ family reportedly believes he contributed to his current situation by repeatedly speaking publicly about the case over the years.
If convicted, Davis could face a life sentence. However, he reportedly believes his lawyers can challenge the prosecution’s case and that there are weaknesses in the evidence against him.
Davis continues to deny the murder charge and wants the case against him dropped.
